Work Experience
November 2025- Present
The Lost Farm
The current project I am working on is a feature length Horror film called 'The Lost Farm' in which I am one of the leading editors for. I started off on set as a runner and dailies editor where I was tasked with transferring the camera and audio files over to the hard drive along with syncing the audio to the visuals.
After filming in November, I became one of the main editors and I continued syncing the audio. I then moved onto the rough cuts for each scene, which is where I currently am now with the project.
November 2024
Still Waters
After completing my masters degree in film editing, I had the opportunity to go on the set of 'Still Waters' as a runner for 2 days. I was tasked with helping move equipment, doing the slate, making sure the sound quality was good and also got to shoot the opening shot for one of the scenes.
Upon completing my 2 days work experience, I managed to meet up with the crew in my home town where they let me shadow more of the filming that took place.
July 2021
The Trick
I worked on the BBC film 'The Trick' as a props assistant for 5 days.
I would help through painting chairs green for a meeting scene in the film along with carrying props from the van to the set.
This was the first time I worked on a professional production, which gave me great insight into the amount of work it takes to create the look of a scene.
July 2023
Antiques Roadshow
I got to be a Steward for the Antiques Roadshow for one day in Cardiff in which my job was to manage the queue for the clocks and watches store.
After my stewardship was done, I got the opportunity to appear in the background of two segments of the production in which my face was shown on the programme numerous times.
May/June 2023
Hay Festival
I learnt a lot whilst I was at the Hay Festival. I worked with Bubble Production on filming the interviews in which they taught me a lot about how to position shots such as being aware of the looking room of the interviewer.
Alongside this, I learnt how to use the vision mixer, which as an aspiring editor I loved doing as it gave me another option to pursue for my future career.
August 2022
Green Man Festival
Getting the opportunity to work at the Green Man festival was great. I got to do some editing for the Green Man documentary we had to make about sustainability. The highlight of the festival was definitely filming the bands in which I got to experiment with the cameras during the show and got shots that the director over coms was really impressed by.

August 2022
Weatherman Walking
Straight after the Green Man Festival, I was given the opportunity to observe the filming for Weatherman Walking as the crew were filming in my hometown and in the garden of my parents' cafe.
This was a great experience for me as I was able to see exactly how TV productions were filmed.

August 2023 + April 2024
Gorilla Group
After graduating from Media Production I got the opportunity to shadow some editors who work at Gorilla Group at Cardiff Bay. I got to see how 'Bargain Hunt' was edited on Avid Media Composer alongside seeing how colour correction is done in BaseLight and seeing how VFX is used in Welsh pre-school programmes.
April 2023
Social Media Hair & Beauty Awards
During my final year of Media Production I was given the opportunity to film the Social Media Hair & Beauty Awards hosted by Josh and Kally from Capital FM. I got to film the award ceremony itself and take photos of people on the red carpet and record a band in which it was a great experience as I got an insight in how award shows are made.
July 2023
Dame Heccatty Weirdsister Does Macbeth
I got the opportunity to film in Barry Docks a retelling of Macbeth.
After filming, I was given the files and I made sure to get my head down and start editing the play. The final edit was 1 hour 40 minutes. After the edit of the play itself I edited a short 1 minute promo for Memo Arts Centre to use as advertisement. Filming and editing this play was a great experience of gaining contacts and understanding the amount of work that goes into this type of production.
April 2022
An Interview with Dario Deabreu
I got the opportunity to film and edit an interview of Dario Deabreu ready for his book 'Little Boy Scared'. In this fascinating interview, Dario reflects over his life, from his childhood of sleeping on the streets of Cardiff to founding a multi-million pound business.
October 2023
Iris Prize
Through my masters course, I got the opportunity to help out with the Iris festival. I did 4 days of work which included lighting and sound for the talks at the start and end of each showing.
This was a great experience for me as I got to see a variety of creatives talk about their thought process behind making their films.
